Premier and Vizient both announced AI work this week. Premier hired a Chief AI and Analytics Officer and put him in a new center reporting to the chief executive. Vizient announced $1 billion over four years, an enterprise platform under its Data and Digital president, and three supply chain solutions under its Spend Management president.
